My story is on the home page.
As for a little bit more background… I began working in the fitness industry since 1991, after having been a runner since middle school, and came to yoga in 2000 through my need to manage chronic pain. Along the way I’ve managed 2 fitness centers, accumulated numerous certifications, and have learned the part I enjoy the most is working with people, rather than behind a desk. So while I do have some desk duties now, I try to keep that to a minimum so that I can follow my passion of helping, of healing, others.
I understand the tapas (discipline) of a consistent practice to achieve my goal of pain-free living. I have given up a lot to make it this far, and I wouldn’t trade anything. I now enjoy being of service to others, helping them learn the discipline of the mind, treat the pain of the body, and ease the mind.
